                      Empowering Vulnerable Communities for a sustainable development   

              Action For Integrated Approach to Development Initiative is a not-for-profit, non-governmental Christian relief development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, women families and disadvantaged communities to overcome poverty, disease and injustice (human rights). This organization was established/founded in the year 2008 by Joseph Musajjawaza and later called the other people to join him with an objective to serve and change lives of individuals and families in sorry state in the rural or local communities drawing strength from other global links, diversities, resources and experiences.

 

                                                                                                                                      AFIADI was duly registered with the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs as a company limited by guarantee No.113926 and made a Memorandum of Understanding with Ministry of Gender, Labor and Social Development. This NGO aims to provide assistance through a number of projects. It serves alongside the poor and the disadvantaged people as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity or gender. The main focus of the organization is the poor in Uganda and the world at large, the people who live in poor remote conditions and at most times find difficulty in accessing basic necessities of life include knowledge, health care, safe water, education, clothings, employment, better farming methods (Food Security) protecting the environment etc. our commitment to intensify our efforts which requires collective responsibility and we call upon individuals, families, parents, governments, communities and organizations to take up issues proposed in this profile so as to make our world a better place to live in.

               Objectives

 

  • To enhance economic empowerment through promoting food security of among orphans and other vulnerable children.

  •     To contribute towards improved community health through proper sanitation and disease control.

  •      To improve quality of education, culture and sports through talent development among rural communities.

  •      To provide psychosocial support and disseminate information related to HIV/ AIDS prevention, care and stigma eradication and special needs (elderly & disabled).

  •       To  fight for women rights, and justice for disadvantaged families
