AFIADI women program
AFIADI women is a department in Action for integrated approach to development initiative (AFIADI) in which women and girls emancipate themselves in all means through projects like chicken rearing, art and crafts , agriculture and horticulture, SMEs, rearing animals like pigs, cattle where every woman from each family gets an offspring. as AFIADI team we realized there’s a lot women here in Uganda go through, women are divorced together with their children empty handed, therefore resort to street life, women are under estimated in a sense that men take them to be inferior therefore dominate over them by owning their rights, several mothers in Uganda are beaten in presence of their children, women are raped, the major thing I believe has led Ugandan women exposed to such humiliation is the fact that 99% are taken for housewives that their husbands deny them the right to work and instead keep them home as slaves and at the end of it all they get kicked out especially when these men run short of finances, in a case like this, for a housewife to ask her husband to provide her necessities as woman in Uganda, the response can either be beating her to severely or throwing her out which see as injustice at its climax and that’s why we came up with AFIADI women to emancipate rights for both women and girls, join us in the fight to campaign women emancipation, you can like our facebook page www.facebook.com/afiadiNGO, collives@gmail.com ,www.afiadi.webs.com or contact us on +256 752 631440.
